How To Create a Website



The interviews for the posts advertised dated 12.01.2015 (BPS-16 to BPS-19 iand dated 30.08.2015 for BPS 1 to BPS-15) are postponed/delayed due to some administrative/legal issues. The new dated of interviews will be communicated through letters as well as telephonically once it is finalized.


The new website of PMRC has been launched on 10th of December, 2015.


Ms. Taranum Ruba Siddiqui for the oral presentation title "Salmonella Carrier State in Food Handlers of Karachi Food Street" in 9th Annual Conference of the IDSP.

Dr. Ambreen Arif, Medical Officer, PMRC Research Centre, JPMC, Karachi, has been selected for Gold Medal 2010, by Pakistan Academy of Sciences, in recognition of her research in the field of Medical Sciences

The PMRC Head Office is located at Islamabad. It has 12 Research Centers throughout the country which are attached to the major Public sector hospitals. All powers of the Council (both administrative and financial) are vested in the Board of Governors (BoG).  The members of the BoG serve in their ex-officio capacity. Head of most public sector organizations with direct or indirect connection to the health sector are represented on the Board.

 

The BoG exercises its authority through Executive Committee, the Executive Director of PMRC and a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) with a numbers of expert panels.

 

The Executive Director, besides its routine administrative functions, organizes research studies at the national level, coordinates the work of research centres of the Council, arranges trainings on medical research, disseminates the findings of research and establishes links within country and abroad.

 

 

 

Congratulations! Dr. Farkhanda Ghafoor, Principal Research Officer on on the outstanding work of patenting the method for the determination of "Microalbuminuria".

 

 

Dr. Farkhanda Ghafoor, Principle Research Officer (BS-19) PMRC, Research Centre NHRC, Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore is granted onetime cash award of

Rs.200,000/- on getting her microalbuminuria method patented. This is an excellent landmark contribution in the field of Science and Technology.
