Second Round of Health Survey of Pakistan-II (NHSP-II):

The 1st National Health Survey was done in 1994. Results of that survey have been extensively used by policy makers and academicians both locally and abroad. About 27 papers have been published on various aspects of the findings of the survey. There is a need to do the second round of the survey. In order to prepare PC-1 on the subject survey, meetings between various Programme mangers and stakeholders were held to finalize the parameters to be included in the survey. Their inputs have been taken into consideration and the PC1 has been developed and submitted to Ministry of Health for approval and funding.
