Development of Laboratory Diagnostic Kits:

·         Developed Kit for early detection of microalbuminuria in diabetic patients.

      PMRC in collaboration with the UK counterparts has produced a diagnostic kit for early

      detection of albumin in micro quantities in diabetic patients. It will reduce the cost to 5 folds.

·         Developed kit for detection of “HbA1c:

       To check the diabetic patients whether their diabetes is controlled or not. By developing this test

       indigenously, the price will come down to approximately Rs 100 which is 400-500 per test at

       present.
