Biosafety and Biosecurity Initiative in Clinical Laboratories:

The Pakistan Medical Research Council has developed a comprehensive proposal for good laboratory practices in the area of Biosafety and Biosecurity. We have developed questionnaire to undertake base line survey for need assessment of laboratories on this subject. A PC-I to undertake initiatives in the area of Bio-safety and Bio-security of laboratories is submitted to Ministry of Health for funding.

PMRC is planning to conduct a study to evaluate the current knowledge about bio-safety and bio-security among concerned quarters.
